Principal's Corner
At DeLaveaga, we believe in challenging each student to achieve his/her fullest potential. We acknowledge the unique gifts and talents of each student. We strive to build on individual strengths, while working to address the individual needs and learning styles of each child. Our talented teaching staff is ready to work with you and your child to provide engaging and responsive experiences at school. We hope the school year is one of growth and fulfillment.
Our school is supported in great part by the generosity in the Santa Cruz community. DeLaveaga offers an enriched educational experience for children, including art, vocal and instrumental music, Life Lab gardening and science, and a top quality library and media lab. We also host a district Dual Immersion Spanish-English program K-5 on our campus. We are fortunate to have a high rate of active parent participation to support the classrooms and programs at our school. Please consider volunteering and becoming involved in our school community this year!

- Donating to UNICEF. Select the UNICEF logo above to be directed to the organization's online donation page.
- Dropping coins and cash in the deposit box in the library.
- Responding to the request that will be coming soon from our school's student government.
